The Senegal Football Federation (FSF) has announced a new coach for the national side. Amara Traore has been appointed following the departure of former coach Lamine Ndiaye who was sacked in October 2008 after the team failed to reach the final round of World Cup qualifying. 44 year old Traore is a former player who has also coached ASC Linguere de St-Louis, winners of the country’s first division this year.
