What We Think
With a serene and elegant atmosphere, days can be spent relaxing by the side of the inviting swimming pool or on the soft, white sands of the hotel’s private beach where, for the more energetic, there are a number of watersports available to try. The Saly Fishing Club also offers deep sea fishing trips from the hotel’s own marina.
The prime beachfront location is just one of the hotel’s outstanding features; the accommodation itself is impressive, designed in an African style, with two-storey thatched houses set amongst colourful, manicured gardens, each with light and airy, airconditioned rooms complete with their own terrace.
To totally unwind, you need go no further than the hotel’s newly renovated spa; the first centre in Africa providing thalassotherapy, using techniques based on the principles of Chinese energy medicine. Relax in the hydrotherapy pool, the therapeutic baths, the Hammam or with one of the many beauty and massage treatments on offer.
You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining; the main restaurant, Le Lamantin, offers buffet meals, showcasing the best of international cuisine. Alternatively, the newly opened fusion restaurant, Le Barama, in its enviable position overlooking the pool and the marina, is perfect for a special occasion. Throughout the day and evening you can enjoy a selection of light meals and drinks in the nautically styled Le Bar du Port, alongside the marina.
