What We Think
Enjoying a superb beachfront location and a friendly, relaxing atmosphere, the hotel overlooks the picturesque bay of Saly with rooms arranged in two-storey, traditional African–style buildings, nestled amongst the palm trees. Each is comfortably furnished with a private terrace, whilst the colourful furnishings and décor add a certain African charm.
A pool and sun terrace area offer plenty of space to relax, plus the white sandy beach is right on your doorstep, its clear, calm waters dotted with sailing boats and watersports. For keen anglers the hotel has its own world-class fishing centre with four professionally crewed boats, so enthusiasts can certainly make the most of the wonderful fishing opportunities on offer.
As we’ve mentioned, Espadon has a particular reputation for its fantastic cuisine and the hotel chef takes full advantage of the fresh produce of the area, in particular the seafood, which arrives directly off the fishing boats. Meals are served in the main restaurant alongside the swimming pool where you can choose to dine under the stars on the candle-lit terrace.
The ‘Le Ponton’ bar; reached by a jetty from the hotel and built over the water, is the perfect place to enjoy a light lunch. Come the evening, it is transformed with coloured lighting and cushioned seating into a stylish cocktail bar for the perfect end to a perfect day.
