However there are some hotels, which can offer limited assistance.

People who are confined to a wheelchair will have difficulties travelling in Senegal due to the lack of wheelchair facilities.  Although some tourist hotels are conveniently built on one or two levels, making it a little easier if not fully equipped for wheelchair users.

Generally speaking hotels in Saly have a reasonable amount of access due to the accommodation being bungalow style or situated on the ground floor.  All hotels are located on the beach although may prove awkward without wooden boardwalks on the sand.  In the resort there are pavements although not always of the best standard.

In Sine Saloum it's a little more restricted – Most hotels are accessible, however limited outside of hotels due to locations.
