Transport Information

Heathrow is probably the most accessible airport in terms of different modes of transport - travel by car, motorcycle, train, bus, coach and even bicycle. Motorcyclists can park in dedicated motorbike parks free of charge and there is a network of cycle paths with signage allowing easy access for cyclists also.

Conveniently situated just 15 miles from the centre of London and close to the M4 & M25 motorways, Heathrow also provides a vast shopping experience with the ability to purchase various goods from indulgent luxuries to essential travel items, enhancing your time at the airport.

Telephones

Wheelchair-accessible telephones and text phones for the hard of hearing are available around the airport.

Heathrow Help Bus

Passengers with reduced mobility can take advantage of a free wheelchair-accessible service running transportation between the bus station and all of the terminals. There are Help Point telephones or Help Bus telephones located in the terminal to arrange assistance.

Help Point Telephones

The Help Point telephones are available to request use of a wheelchair or assistance in and around the airport grounds. The telephones are located in the short stay car parks, outside the terminal entrances and within the baggage reclaim area.
