Winter Sun in Senegal

From November to April Senegal is particularly popular with visitors from the UK and Europe taking advantage of the winter sun and Senegal's hot and virtually rain-free climate. Maximum average temperatures during the ‘winter’ are around 27-32°C, with an average of 8 –10 hours sunshine per day.

During the winter months you will find the resort areas are in full swing, with hotels generally full and the restaurants and bars open. That said, compared to say The Canaries, Senegal does not feel overcrowded even in peak season.
