We will drive up to Lac Rose (also known as the Pink Lake or Lac Retba), a strange waterway full of salt, which is extracted by collectors. Then take a 4x4 over the sand dunes on the final stretch of the Dakar rally where we will have lunch at the camp.
After lunch we will drive up to Thies, a pleasant colonial city, making a stop at the basketry market. On our way back enjoy wonderful panoramic views over the baobab forest of Sindia.
