Travelling by road and track to the tortoise reserve, where the Sulcata tortoise is bred and protected. On to Lac Rose (Pink Lake) also known as Lac Retba, a strange waterway full of salt, which is excavated by collectors. Taste a Senegalese lunch at the lakeside. In a 4x4, drive along the beach and sand dunes, the final stretch of the Paris-Dakar Rally. Continue on to the largest traditional fishing centre in Senegal, Kayar, to experience the exciting atmosphere as the fishermen return with their catch. Return to your hotels through the bush.
