Follow the tracks crossing through the Sérère land, an area rich with animals and agriculture. Visit villages at the heart of the beautiful forest of baobabs and palm trees for a true Senegalese experience. From Djiffer you will board a traditional covered pirogue to explore the mangrove with its labyrinth of bolongs in the National Park. Here you can see oysters, numerous birdlife and a fascinating cemetery made of seashells.
Travel through the wild mangroves and bolongs by a small boat to the uninhabited island of Sangomar. Here you can enjoy freshly grilled fish for lunch and take a relaxing swim. In the afternoon travel back by 4x4 and take a stopover at the salt wells of Palmarin, crossing the salty sand areas known as “tanns”.
