Leaving from Dakar port we will take a boat trip to Gorée Island. Here you can explore the flowered streets of the historic island, following a baobab path up to the headland. Next you will visit the slaves’ house including an insightful commentary provided by your guide, and enjoy lunch by the seaside before travelling back to Dakar.
You will then have the chance to visit some of the places of interest in the town of Dakar - Kermel market, Independence Place, the presidential palace, the cathedral, coast roads, and hillocks (Mamelles).
